No need to head to the park for this magical treat, you can get all the ingredients you need right at your grocery store. And if you have ever made Rice Krispie Treats before, you’re half way there!

There are 2 unique items you’ll need to make these treats…popsicle sticks to hold them…and Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutters to make the shape.

Now, if you’ve been following us at all, you know we’re all about ease. So…if you would rather not have popsicle sticks, you can still make these…they may just be a little bit messy.

And, if you’re creative enough, feel free to try and cut the Mickey shaped head all by yourself. If you’d rather just wait a day or two for Amazon Prime to show up, these are the cookie cutters we used, and they came in a pack so we can make lots of different Mickey treats in the future!

How do you make Mickey Mouse Rice Krispie treats?

It’s so easy! If you know how to make Rice Krispies, you’re already almost done. If you don’t… you’re about to learn how simple they are to make.
First you’ll need to make the Rice Krispie Treats, let them cool, then cut the Mickey shaped heads from your cookie cutter. That’s it!

Then you get to decorate them however you like!

How long do Disney Rice Krispie Treats last?

7 Days! Our Rice Krispie Treats lasted a full week when refrigerated in a sealed container. You’ll notice they start getting harder the more you wait…and if you have them for more than a week, that’s some real self control, because I ate all 3 of ours in a week by myself! ha.
I definitely think they taste best between Days 1-3 but I had no trouble eating the last one on day 7.

Quick Tip if you do wait a bit to eat them… pull them out of the fridge and let it sit for a little until it’s room temperature. They will be a lot easier to bite into!

INGREDIENTS:

-6 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal

-10 oz. Bag Mini M&M’s

-Popsicle Sticks

Mickey Cookie Cutter

DIRECTIONS:

-Melt butter in a saucepan on low heat.

-Add marshmallows and continuously stir until melted.

-Remove from heat, and add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until fully coated.

-Add Rice Krispies mixture to a 13×9 inch pan, and refrigerate so it hardens.

-Remove Rice Krispies from the refrigerator and using your Mickey shaped cookie cutter, cut out as many Mickey’s as you’d like from the Rice Krispie Treats.

**Tip** Spray your cookie cutter with non-stick cooking spray so it comes off easier.

-Carefully add a popsicle stick through the bottom of your Mickey head.

-Melt melting chocolate according to package.

-Dip Mickey Rice Krispie Treat in melted chocolate, covering fully.

-Add mini M&M’s all over Mickey. Do this quickly, as the chocolate will start to dry.
We laid the M&M’s out on a plate and laid the chocolate covered Mickey on the plate, so they would be fully covered.

-Drizzle melted chocolate over the M&M’s

-Let dry and enjoy!
