Can you use frozen bananas in this recipe as well?
For sure. I’m totally guilty of buying a zillion bananas and then watching them all sadly spoil on my counter. And instead of tossing them in the trash, I’ve found that peeling away the peel and putting them in the freezer is an awesome hack to know.
That way, when the craving strikes for pure heaven in your mouth, you already have your ripe bananas on hand and you just have to let them thaw for a few moments of time.

Tips for making this Peanut Butter Banana Bread Recipe
I’m in love with this recipe for so many reasons. First off, it’s carbs. (yay!) And secondly, there’s also Reese’s in this recipe, too. The recipe tells you to cut them into fourths for size but that’s totally up to you and your want.
I’ve made this bread with giant chunks of Reese’s in it and I’m not hating it at all. It just gives me that much more flavor of peanut butter and chocolate and that’s a-okay with me.

Ingredients:
Makes 1 loaf of bread
- 3/4 C peanut butter
- 1/4 C butter
- 2 C of granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 C of flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 c salt
- 3 really ripe banana, mashed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 12 reese minutares, cut into fourths
- 1 C of peanut butter
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Grease a loaf pan.
3. In a mixing bowl, beat the sugar and eggs on medium speed until fully combined.
4. Add the peanut butter and mix until combined.
5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
6. Add the flour mixture, slowly to the wet batter until combined.
7. Add in the bananas.
8. Fold in the chopped reese cups.
9. Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
10. Once cooled place loaf onto a plate.
11. Scoop the peanut butter into a microwave safe dish and melt at 30 seconds until melted. Then drizzle Peanut Butter on top of bread.
