The perfect Fall donut isn’t far away! Try these delicious apple cider donuts that are fully gluten free! You can use your favorite gluten free all purpose flour to make these tasty donuts.
Donut Ingredients:
4 TBSP unsalted butter, melted and cooled
½ c apple cider
1 C gluten–free all–purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp salt
⅓ C sugar
1 egg, room temp
Directions:
-Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
1. Melt your butter and stir in the apple cider. Set aside.
2. Add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl, mix well.
3. Add the sugar into the butter mixture and mix well, then add the egg, and lightly beat it in.
4. When completely mixed together slowly begin to add the wet mixture to the flour bowl. Don’t over stir, just ensure that all of your ingredients are well blended.
5. Spray the mini donut pan with baking spray, and spoon in the batter until each is filled ½ way.
6. Bake at 425 degrees for 5-6 minutes until the donut springs back with a slight touch.
7. While baking, add the sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl, and mix well.
8. While the donuts are still warm shake the sugar/cinnamon on each donut.
9. Once slightly cooled remove from the donut pan and shake sugar/cinnamon on other side. Then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Serve and Enjoy!
