  • Baking chocolate or milk chocolate chips 
  • Butter
  • Cream cheese – Let this come to room temperature before you get started.
  • Confectioner’s sugar
  • Whipped topping – You’ll need a 16-ounce container that is thawed out first.

Make Your Own French Silk Pie Brownies

When you’re ready to make your French silk brownie concoction, all you do is start by making the brownies according to what the box says.

After they bake, allow them to cool completely. 

Once they’re cool, you can begin uniting brownies with French silk pie for what will forever be your favorite combination.

You’ll beat the cream cheese together with the powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl.

When that’s fully combined, fold in that thawed whipped topping. 

You’ll microwave the chocolate and butter in a microwave safe bowl next.

It helps to cut the butter up into small cubes. This ensures it will melt in a more even fashion.

  • 1 9×13 fudge brownie mix
  • 4 oz. of baking chocolate or milk chocolate chips
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 8 oz. cream cheese allowed to set at room temperature
  • 2 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 16 oz. tub whipped topping – thawed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the brownie mix according to directions.  Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to fully cool.

  1. In a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until fully combined.  Then fold in the whipped topping.
  1. In a microwave safe bowl add chocolate and butter (cut butter into small cubes allowing it to melt more evenly.  Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir and then microwave in 15-second increments until chocolate and butter have melted and are smooth.
