What other fun toppings could you add to these Cookies and Cream Cupcakes?

In case you’re having one of those days when you need all the chocolate and sweets, you can easily up the ante with these delicious cupcakes. Pile on some mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, or even a dollop of hot fudge (yes, really!) because you’re an adult and you can absolutely eat your dessert first if you want.

Storage Tips For These Cookies and Cream Cupcakes

Since this simple cupcake recipe makes 24 cupcakes, you just might find that you have a few leftovers after everyone grabs one or two. To keep them as fresh and delicious for as long as possible, simply store them in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge. They’ll be fine for a few days and won’t lose any taste or flavor.

(And if you want to know a mom tip from one mom to another, take a couple of the leftover cupcakes and put them in their own little storage container and hide them in the back of the fridge. Trust me, you’ll thank me later when that craving hits and you’ve secured a couple just for yourself!)
