These Golden Oreo blondies are also known as “Slutty Brownies” or “Slutty Blondies”. Now I’ve never heard of a brownie or dessert being called slutty, and that shows you how much of a baker I really am. Ha

Remember, we are all about ease here at “Well, If She Can Do It…” so we like to find simple recipes to follow and create delicious desserts that seem like we really know what we are doing. 

We all know about brownies, but blondies are the white chocolate version of brownies. It’s like the color of blondes vs brunettes…still waiting for our redhead desserts!

These Golden Oreo Blondies are a fun mix in your typical chocolate chip cookies and brownie routine and oh, so delicious. You for sure will have all the help eating these up!

Looking at the ingredients, you might feel like jumping ship, but we promise, you can do it!

MAKE IT SIMPLE!
If you’re anything like me and you want a super simple recipe, you can try this with pre-made cookie dough for your cookie layer, and boxed mix for your blondie layer…there are no rules, do what’s best for you! 

Here’s what you will need:

Slutty Blondie Brownies

Ingredients:

Cookie Layer:

  • 1/2 C Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1/4 C Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 C White Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 TSP Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/4 C Flour
  • 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 1/2 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1/2 TSP Baking Powder

Brownie Layer:

  • 1/2 C Butter, melted
  • 1 C Dark Brown Sugar
  • 2 TSP of Vanilla
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 C Flour
  • 1/2 TSP Baking Powder
  • 1/4 TSP Salt
  • 1/8 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1/2 C White Chocolate Chips

Oreo Layer:

  • 1 Package of Golden Oreos (I use double stuff)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line the bottom of a 9×9 baking pan with tin foil and then spray the tin foil with a layer of baking spray.

STEP ONE:

Cookie Dough Layer:

  1. In a stand mixer, mix together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar till combined.
  2. Mix in the egg and vanilla in the butter/ sugar mixture until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
  5. Layer the cookie dough on the bottom of a 9×9 baking pan, pressing down to form the bottom of the slutty brownies.

    Set aside.

STEP TWO:

Oreo Cookie Layer:

  1. Place the oreos on top of the cookie dough layer. (However many will fit, you don’t need to overlap.)

STEP THREE:

Brownie Layer:

  1. In a microwave safe bowl melt the butter and transfer into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the brown sugar and whisk to combine.
  3. Add the vanilla and egg and continue to whisk until totally incorporated.
  4. In another bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
  5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until fully combined.
  6. Stir in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Carefully press the brownie batter on top of the oreo layer and make sure it’s even on top.

TIME TO BAKE!

Bake for 30-35 minutes.

Test with a knife to see if the center is done. (If the knife comes out clean, let the brownies rest for at least 1 hour before serving. If the knife comes out with batter still on it, allow the brownies to bake about 5 minutes more.)

Allow brownies to set for an hour then cut and enjoy!
