Nutella Pizza – Dessert Pizza The Whole Family Will Love!

Sharing is caring!

Nutella Pizza?! Sign us up! Are you a pizza freak? We can’t think of anyone who isn’t. And while we love pizza for dinner, pizza for dessert sounds pretty good too.

No, not more cheesy goodness, but a Nutella Pizza!

Instead of using regular pizza though, you’ll jazz it up with brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Because while it would technically be fine to make a Nutella Pizza on regular pizza dough, it will lack that pizzazz.

And isn’t pizza pizzazz what you’re going for?

Whether you want to make a Nutella Pizza for a dessert to follow a regular pizza, or you simply want a fun dessert that everyone can grab a slice of, this Nutella Pizza recipe is an easy and delicious way to make it happen.

Serve it on a weekend night, when friends come by, make it for the kids, or hoard it to yourself!

What You Will Need for Nutella Pizza

  • Pizza dough – You will make it from flour, warm water, yeast, salt, and brown sugar.
  • Seasonings for the dough – Now this is where it gets that unique flavor for dessert by adding cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  • Nutella – Well, you can’t make Nutella Pizza without this, now can you?
  • Toppings – Slices of banana and strawberry plus crunchy chopped nuts are the perfect way to top this dessert pizza off!

Make Your Own Nutella Pizza

Don’t shy away from making your own dough. Making the dough for Nutella Pizza is as easy as pie…pizza pie! Ha!

All you do is pair the warm water and sugar with the yeast and let that rest for a little bit. And while that sits, you add the flour, cinnamon, and salt to another bowl. You can do this!

When that resting mixture is ready, you combine the two bowls and mix them together, then add your vanilla.

Your dough will be ready to knead now but don’t just grab at it. You need to dust your hands with flour to keep it from sticking to your hands. Trust us, don’t skip this step or you’ll look like one of the Scooby Doo monsters.

When it’s not sticky anymore, you can put it in a bowl and cover it up to let it rise. But before you even do that, you need to grease the bowl with oil or else it will stick to that and you’ll be back to Scooby Doo ghost-land.

Should you put it in the fridge? No! It needs to be somewhere warm while it does its thing. Go do something fun for a bit and come back to it and when it’s ready, you can shape it into a circle and officially make that Nutella Pizza.

Yes, a bit of prep work but the results are worth it, plus it only takes 15 minutes from there. You can even prep it in advance to make later for an easy dessert that will impress.

After baking, it has to cool before you smear on your Nutella. Then you can top it with the fruits and nuts as you like. Or feel free to experiment with your own favorite toppings. We bet shredded coconut, raspberries, and white chocolate chips would be amazing too. Follow the complete steps below and you’ll have the perfect Nutella Pizza!
